Accessibility
Our commitment. RepVolley exists for the moment a person's memory fails under pressure. A product built around that should be usable by everyone, and we aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the website, the dashboard, and the apps. We are a small team early in that work, and we would rather hear about a barrier today than discover it in a year.
What is in place now
- Text and contrast. System fonts, relative sizing, and colors chosen for contrast in both light and dark modes. The site follows your operating system's light/dark preference.
- Keyboard. Every control on the website and dashboard is a native button, link, or form field, reachable and operable by keyboard in the normal tab order.
- Structure. Pages use real headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate them; form fields have visible labels.
- The phone app. Card text size is adjustable in Settings independently of the system setting, for reading at arm's length. Controls use standard iOS components, which work with VoiceOver, Switch Control, and Dynamic Type.
- No time limits on the things that matter. Cards stay on screen for a minimum time and can be pinned indefinitely; nothing in the dashboard expires while you are using it.
- No flashing or motion effects.
Known limitations
- The phone app's live card is designed to be glanced at during a spoken conversation; we have not yet tested it end to end with VoiceOver in a live-call scenario and expect improvements are needed there.
- The dashboard's file upload uses a drag-and-drop area; a standard file chooser is always available as an alternative.
- We have not yet completed a formal third-party audit.
